Guia Equina tiene su cuenta de twitter hace poco menos de un año, yo por mi parte tengo mi cuenta personal en Twitter hace 3 años, a penas cuando comenzaba. En un principio, parecia ser una red social un poco tonta aunque divertida en la que expresabamos cuanto pensamiento nos pasaba por la cabeza... Ahora la red ha ganado popularidad y tanto artistas como otras personalidades famosas y de autoridad, organizaciones, periodicos, revistas, y hasta personajes de caricaturas tienen su cuenta de twitter. Ya no se trata de compartir pensamientos sencillos que caben el 140 caracteres, sino que se ha convertido en una manera de compartir enlaces a informacion importante y al momento.
